NEW Bamboo Tools – Shortlisted for RHS Chelsea Product of the Year 2012!
We’re delighted to announce that our Bamboo trowel and fork for younger gardeners has been short-listed in the RHS Chelsea 2012 Product of the Year!
New for 2012 our 17-strong range of hand tools have bamboo handles (rather than hardwood) making them 100% sustainable. Bamboo is a highly efficient regenerative plant which can replenish itself within 36 months. It converts around 35% more CO² into oxygen than regular trees, contributing to a cleaner, greener environment. It also has the tensile strength of steel!
This combination of eco-awareness, attractive, durable design and the promotion of both gardening and sustainability to children, has also led to the Trowel & Fork reaching the shortlist for ‘Product of the Year’ at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2012.
